Nextgen Global initiative is preparing to undertake a future infrastructure development project to construct two (2) permanent classrooms in Turkana County, a region where access to quality learning spaces remains a major challenge. Many children in Turkana attend school in overcrowded, makeshift structures made of iron sheets or under trees—conditions that hinder concentration, safety, and academic performance.
This project aims to provide safe, child-friendly, and conducive learning environments for over 150 pupils, fostering dignity, inclusion, and improved education outcomes in one of Kenya’s most underserved regions.
Project Goals
- Construct 2 fully equipped, weather-resistant classrooms
- Improve learning conditions for pupils in Turkana
- Support community-based education infrastructure
Approximate Budget
KES 2,992,500
